The Final seniority list of Junior Plant Attendants is notified by the proceedings No.
EC/ O&M/ SLBHES/ DE(A&P)/ PO/ JAO/ F.SLBHES/ D.No.211/ 18 dated 21.05.2018. Aggrieved by the placement assigned to him in the said list, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Chairman & Managing Director of the respondent Corporation on 28.05.2018. According to the petitioner, the said appeal is pending. However, on the ground that further promotions are now taken up based on the seniority list already finalized, this Writ Petitioner is filed. 2.
Heard both sides.

Since the petitioner has availed remedy of appeal, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition at this stage. 4.
In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the 2nd respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner on the entries made in the seniority list of Junior Plant AttendantS by the competent authority and take appropriate decision as warranted by law. The Chairman and Managing Director is, prima facie, in agreement with the contention of the petitioner, he shall put on notice to all the effected parties, before taking a decision. The Court is not inclined to stay promotions, pending consideration of the appeal. However, any promotions
made in the meantime, needs to be reviewed in accordance with the orders passed by the 2nd respondent.
No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
