THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE N.BALAYOGI WRI T PETI TI ON No.16241 of 2017 ORDER: (per SK,J) The petitioner is the applicant in O.A.No.974 of 2017 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad. By order dated 13.04.2017, the Tribunal closed the said O.A. along with other O.As. being of the opinion that no purpose would be served by giving directions in each and every case as the order passed by this Court would be to the benefit of all the Police Constables similarly situated in the State. Reference was also made by the Tribunal to the order dated 23.03.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.10435 and 10441 of 2017. Sri K.Muralidhar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would contend that as the petitioner has made a separate representation dated 18.02.

2016 to the authorities and as the earlier O.As. and the representations, which were referred to therein, relate to other districts, the Tribunal ought to have directed the authorities concerned to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2016, instead of placing him under the protection of the order passed by this Court in other matters. We find merit in this contention as the petitioner herein independently made a representation to the authorities concerned and unless there is a direction in relation to his own representation, he may not be in a position to agitate his grievance thereafter. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of setting aside the order dated 13.04.2017 passed by the Tribunal in so far as it pertains to O.A.No.974 of 2017 and directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 18.02.

This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and, in any event, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
