THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL APPEAL No.1005 of 2015 JUDGMENT:

This Criminal Appeal is filed by the appellant - de facto complainant against the judgment, dated 28.09.2015, passed in Special S.C. No.12 of 2013 by the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chittoor at Tirupathi, wherein the learned Sessions Judge acquitted the respondents 3 to 6 - accused Nos.1 to 4 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 323 and 506(1) IPC and 3 (1) (x) and 3 (1) (xi) of the Scheduled Cates and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

When the matter was taken up on 22.07.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 29.07.2016 under the caption 'for dismissal' at 2.30 p.m.

Today also, when the matter is taken up at 2.30 p.m., none appears for the appellant and there is no representation on his behalf. Hence, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J July 29, 2016.
