HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 1285 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the registration of Crime No. 318 /2016 on 3.12.2016 by the 3rd respondent, on the complaint given by the 4th respondent.

The 4th respondent in his complaint stated that in a pending suit, a fake promissory note was produced and it was found fake on submission of report by the Forensic Science Laboratory. If a fake document is produced, it is for the competent Court to take appropriate legal proceedings. But the petitioners lodged a complaint and the same was registered as Crime No. 318 of 2016.

This Court, by order dated 6.1.2017, directed the Police to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court feels that the said order is proper, and in view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police to complete the investigation. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
