When the matter is called, it is informed by both the counsel that the writ petitioner died in the year 2011 itself. As a matter of fact, on 1.10.2018, learned counsel for the petitioner sought time by stating that necessary steps would be taken in due course.

Even today, the same request is made.

Though the petitioner died in the year 2011, till now, no steps have been taken. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as abated.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
