Petitioner is a Conductor. It appears that he met with an accident on 19.11.2013 while he was conducting Nizamabad Service. The certificate issued by the area hospital Mahabubabad discloses that the petitioner is having physical disability of 57% after the accident. Having regard to his disability, the petitioner was posted as Controller on 6.10.2015 and further extension of such posting was granted vide orders dated 17.8.2016 which expired in December 2016. According to learned counsel for petitioner, the petitioner is continuing to work in the same capacity even after the expiry of extension granted to him. 2.

Petitioner submitted a representation on 19.11.2016 to continue him as on other duty having regard to his physical disability and not to post him as Conductor. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the said representation is pending consideration and so far no orders have been passed.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner claims to have submitted representation on 19.11.2016, the Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits directing the first respondent to consider the request of the petitioner granting him posting on OD basis or continue him as Controller as was done till

PNR,J W.P.NO. 2766 OF 2017 recently and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Petitioner shall be continued as Controller till a decision is taken and communicated the same to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
