THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.28945 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "... to issue order, direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the seizure of petitioner's vehicle bearing No.AP 20TA 1122 under vehicle check report, dated 10.07.2017, by the 3rd respondent as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents to release the vehicle forthwith."

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that it is open for the petitioner to make an appropriate application before the 2nd respondent under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and if any such application is filed, the same will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to make an appropriate application before the 2nd respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order, and if any such application is filed, the same be considered and appropriate action be taken in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
