HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 27132 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in redesignating the services of the petitioners from Lamp Room Mazdoor Category No.I and II post to General Mazdoor underground and directing them to work in the underground, as illegal and arbitrary.

None appeared for the petitioners.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that while admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to continue the petitioners as Lamp Room Mazdoor vide orders dated 30.12.2003 in WPMP No.34382 of 2003 and that the petitioners are on the verge of retirement.

In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
