HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P.No.5511 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.

The effort of petitioner for review of order dated 22.04.2014 could not be taken forward, for the petitioner admittedly has not filed the review in the prescribed format.

Review of order under Section 7A of the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 is a statutory right conferred for resolution of few disputes before the same authority by the Act. Without getting into the merits canvassed on the order dated 22.04.2014, the petitioner is given one week time from today to represent the review in the prescribed format before the 1st respondent. The 1st respondent is directed to admit the review and pass orders on merits.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
