HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No.334 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus to set aside the impugned Letter No.SE/OP/MDK/SAO/HT/D.No.1230/2014 dated 09.09.2014 of the 2nd respondent, whereby he has called upon the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.4,79,313/- towards the total amount payable on final settlement. It is submitted by the petitioner that without furnishing necessary details sought for by the petitioner, the respondents have been demanding to pay the amount.

Similar question fell for consideration before the single Judge of this Court in WP No.41055 of 2014, wherein the learned single Judge directed the respondents to submit all the required data within a period of two weeks and further directed not to disconnect the service connection for non-payment of Rs.4,79,313/-.

3. Since the issue involved in the present case is the same as in the aforestated writ petition, this writ petition is also disposed directing the respondents to furnish the details to the petitioner sought for in the representations dated 26.11.2014 and 02.12.2014. The petitioner is at liberty to avail appropriate remedy, if it is not satisfied with the calculation sheet and MRI data to be supplied by the respondents. For a period of two weeks from the date of supply of such details by the 3rd respondent, the power supply to the petitioner's service connection shall not be disconnected for non-payment of Rs.4,79,313/- as demanded in the impugned letter dated 09.09.2014.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
