Mr. Ravulapati Sreenivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to the revisional authority to decide the revision filed by the petitioner on 30.9.2015 under Rule 12 of Taxation and Finance Rules, before the Kodad Municipality, Nalgonda District, against the issuance of demand bill, impugned in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. The revisional authority shall consider and decide the petitioners' revision, if any, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. It is needless to mention that the revisional authority shall decide the petitioners' revision on merits, in accordance with law. All contentions of the parties are kept open. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed.
