HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.30665 OF 2017 O R D E R :

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not promoting the petitioner to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police from the post of Assistant SubInspector of Police, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police.

Heard both sides.

Since the grievance of the petitioner is already before the 2nd respondent by letter dated 13.02.2017 issued by the 4th respondent, the 2nd and 3rd respondents are directed to take appropriate action on the proceedings dated 13.02.2017, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
