When the matter is taken up for hearing, it has been informed by learned Counsel for petitioners that she is no more the Standing Counsel of petitioner-Corporation.

A perusal of record discloses that petitioner-Corporation was challenging the orders passed in CMP.No.5 of 2001, dated 10.01.2003, whereby, the Industrial Tribunal had directed the petitioner-Corporation to pay Rs.55,720/ - to respondent No.2-workman. This Court, at the time of admission, granted interim stay of the orders passed in CMP.No.4 of 2001, dated 10.01.2003 on the condition that the petitioner-Corporation shall deposit Rs.20,000/ -. The only issue as on today is payment of balance amount to respondent No.2-workman.

This Court, having perused the record, is of the considered view that respondent No.1 has rightly passed orders in favour of respondent No.2-workman. Interests of justice would be met if the balance amount of Rs.35720/ - is directed to be paid to respondent No.2-workman by the petitioner-Corporation.

With the above observations, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand dismissed.
