As there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners when the matter is taken up for hearing on 30-10-2015, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal" on 03-11-2015. Even today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners when the matter is taken up for hearing.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in deducting crop insurance

premium from the crop loans of the petitioners released and to be released at the rate of 1% to 12% towards crop insurance premium in the Khariff and Rabbi seasons 2010 to 2011, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice.

By an order dated 26-07-2010, this Court granted interim stay directing the respondents not to deduct the crop insurance premium from the petitioners for the Khariff and Rabbi seasons 2010-2011.

In view of the interim order passed by this Court and as the loans were already released in favour of the petitioners without any deduction, this Court is of the view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive any more at this point of time. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
