ORDER

This contempt case is filed complaining willful disobedience on the part of the respondents in implementing the order dated 09.06.2015 passed by this Court in WPMP No.20882 of 2015 in WP No.16048 of 2015, whereunder, this Court granted stay of eviction of the petitioners from the land in their possession, if their application for regularization is pending and has not yet been disposed of as on that day.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that after passing the said order, an order was passed on 4.10.2016 by the Project Officer, ITDA Bhadrachalam, holding that the petitioners are not entitled for the rights under the ROFR Act and hence, it cannot be said that there is violation of the order passed by this Court. In view of the said submission, the Contempt Case is closed. However, it is open to the petitioners to pursue their grievance in the pending writ petition.
