HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 2473 of 2015 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings in FIR No. 257 of 2014 of Central Crime Station, Central Zone, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 120(B), 420, 406, 347, 365 & 386 IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the Charge sheet dated 05.06.2015 prepared by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, WCO Team-I & II, CCS, Detective Department, Hyderabad and submitted that the petitioner/A1 was arrested on 15.10.2014 and remanded to judicial custody and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No. 257 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
