HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.22893 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the high-handed action of the 4th respondent - Station House Officer, II Town, Karimnagar Nagar, Karimnagar District, in interfering with the civil matters of the petitioner and threatening him to settle the same with respondent Nos.5 and 6.

2. Heard Sri Rapolu Bhaskar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4, and perused the material on record.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 24.10.2019, submits that a complaint was received from the 5th respondent on 19.05.2019 and on receipt of the same, an entry was made in the General Diary and counselling was done as the complaint relates to marriage of the 5th respondent with the son of the petitioner herein. Thereafter, since both parties approached the Station House Officer and informed that they will compromise the matter and as the 5th respondent gave a letter dated 02.08.2019 expressing her intent for compromise and sought closure of her complaint, the 4th respondent closed the complaint on 02.08.2019 under Petition Enquiry Report dated 02.08.2019. Accordingly, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the 4th respondent

neither interfered in any civil matter of the petitioner nor threatened him to settle any issues with respondent Nos.5 and 6 except acting on the complaint of the 5th respondent as per law prior to its closure.

4. Recording the aforestated submission, the Writ Petition is closed. In the event of receipt of any fresh complaint against the petitioner or his son, the respondents are free to register the same, enquire into and take appropriate action in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
