THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3064 OF 2016 ORDER:

1. This petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.2 to 4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.469 of 2014 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar.

2. Heard and perused the material available on record.

3. The petitioners are alleged to have committed the offence punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought by the petitioners. However, the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is specifically insisted by the trial Court. The petitioners are directed to be represented through a Counsel on all hearing dates.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
