Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of making appropriate application in Form 6(A) under Rule 18 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989 (for short, "the Rules") read with Section 4(1) of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, "the Act"), respondent Nos.3 and 4 - The Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudur, S.P.S.R.Nellore District and the Tahsildar, Venkatagiri Mandal, Venkatagiri, S.P.S.R. Nellore District are not considering his application for changing the entry in cultivation column of adangal and 1B Form (ROR) and not issuing pattadar passbook and title deed to his land.
3. The petitioner states that he has applied in the prescribed proforma in accordance with the Rules on 17.8.2015.
4. In view of the time limit prescribed under the Act and under Rule 6 of the Rules, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing respondent Nos.3 and 4 to consider the said application of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
