HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. AMARNATH GOUD CRIMINAL PETITION No.6976 of 2011 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Crl.P.No.18 of 2010 on the file of the Sessions Court, Ongole, Prakasam District, confirming the orders passed in Crl.M.P.No.190 of 2009 in M.C.No.3 of 2009 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kanigiri. The petitioner is the husband and 1st respondent is the wife. The issue involved is payment of maintenance by the husband to the wife and the enhancement thereof, from Rs.1,500/- to Rs.3,000/-. The grounds stated by the petitioner, viz., loss in business and his working as junior Advocate are very vague and not convincing. Hence, this Court sees no reason to interfere with the proceedings. Criminal petition is accordingly dismissed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending stand closed.
