The writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings dated 19.06.2009, issued by the 1st respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 24.06.2009 passed by this Court petitioner was continued in service and thereafter he retired from service. In that view of the matter, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
