THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 25226 of 2016 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus for declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent Joint Collector, Visakhapatnam in taking up the Revision Case in R.P. No. 18 of 2016 along with Stay Petition, under Section 9 of the Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 against the orders dated 03.05.2016 passed by the 3rd respondent Revenue Divisional Officer, Visakhapatnam under Section 5(5) of the Act.

Since the grievance set out by the petitioners being limited, the Writ Petition itself can be disposed of at the admission stage. Hence, I do not consider it necessary to issue any notice to the respondents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the Revision said to have been preferred by the petitioners on 25.06.2016, after observing the principles of natural justice, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time the Revision is decided, the parties shall maintain status quo in all respects. With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of.
