HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI W.P.No.6668 OF 2003

ORDER

The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents have not regularized their services from the date of their initial appointment.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were appointed as Shramics in pursuance of the notification issued for back log vacancies and that they are entitled for regularization of their services from the date of their initial appointment.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation submits that the case of the petitioners will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if a direction is given to the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondentCorporation. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondents within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy

of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondent-Corporation shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
