This Writ Petition is filed to declare the seizure of shop bearing premises No.11-25-344, situated at Samarangam Chowk, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to refund the tax collected from the petitioner. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and the matter has become infructuous. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
