HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G.SHYAM PRASAD WRIT PETITION No.5815 of 2015 Date:07.6.2016 Between:

Khaled Bin Badar, S/o Badar Bin Abdul Wahab .....Petitioner And:

The State of Telangana, reptd by its Principal Secretary for Home, Hyderabad and three others.

....Respondents Counsel for the petitioner: Mr. Mohd. Muzafferullah Khan Counsel for the Respondents: GP for Home (TS) The Court made the following:

ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Petition is filed for issue of a writ of Habeas Corpus for release of Abid Bin Khaled @ Abid detained under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986 (Act No.1 of 1986).

A perusal of the record shows that the order detaining the detenu was passed on 29.10.2014 for a period of one year and the same was confirmed by G.O.Rt.No.1385, General Administration (Law & Order) Department, dated 19.12.2014.

In view of the fact that the period of one year has expired, the impugned order of detention has worked itself out and the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.7726 of 2015 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
