Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Services-I (TG).

When these two writ petitions are taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners placed before this Court the decision of Division Bench in W.P.Nos.19059, 19319 & 19333 of 2018. In those writ petitions, petitioners challenged the validity of the Rule. The Division Bench granted liberty to the petitioners therein to submit representations under Rule 31 of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 (for short 'the Rules') and to pass appropriate orders thereon and communicate the same to the petitioners on or before 20.06.2018.

In view of the decision of Division Bench, learned counsels agree not to press the challenge to Rule notified vide G.O.Ms.No.16 dated 06.06.2018 and seeks leave of the Court to make representations to the competent authority and also seeks similar direction granted by the Division Bench.

Learned Government pleader also agrees to the suggestion of the learned counsel for the petitioners.

Having regard to the same, while accepting the statement of learned counsel for the petitioners that on not to press the challenge to the Rules notified vide G.O.Ms.No.16 dated 06.06.2018, petitioners are granted liberty to make representations to the competent authority on or before 15.06.2018. If such representations are made, the competent authority shall consider
- 3 - the said request in terms of Rule 31 of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 and pass appropriate orders thereon and communicate the same to the petitioners on or before 20.06.2018.

Writ Petitions are accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
