HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.33923 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the 4th respondent.

The petitioner states that he is an Indian Christian and the 4th respondent was married to his daughter. After marriage, some domestic problems arose in the family of his daughter. Thereafter, he made enquiries with regard to the community of the 4th respondent and he came to know that the 4th respondent belongs to S.C. Hindu. He collected some material relating to the social status of the 4th respondent and lodged a complaint with the 2nd respondent on 16.06.2016 for enquiring into the social status of the 4th respondent. This writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to initiate action against the 3rd respondent for issuing a false community certificate to the 4th respondent.

Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submitted that enquiry was already initiated and the petitioner also participated in the enquiry. The 2nd respondent has to pass final orders pursuant to the report submitted by the District Level Scrutiny Committee.

In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to take further action in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
