.....Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to issue writ direction or order more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent 2 in seeking to demolish including demolition of Pr.No.8-1-299/A/1/A, Shaikpet, Hyderabad area adm.223 s.yds (built up area 400 s.ft) without prior notice and without initiating proceedings established under the law as being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Arts.14, 21 & 300(A) of the Constitution of India and as also the provisions of G.H.M.C. Act.

The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri Vijay Ashrit, Advocate for the Petitioner and Sri R. Radha Krishna Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.2, the Court made the following ORDER:

There shall be interim direction to the respondents not to demolish any of the portion of the petitioner's property vide Pr.No.8-1-299/A/1/A, Shaikpet, Hyderabad, for a period of four weeks.
