THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI W.P. No.19681 of 2002 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner, inspite of the fact that the matter is listed under the caption " For Dismissal" .

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent herein to pay an amount of Rs.1,59,088/ - to the petitioner towards legal fee.

It is contended by the petitioner that he had rendered professional service to the respondents, as he was appointed as Standing Counsel, but, the respondents have not settled the legal fee to him.

This Court, having considered the said submission, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of, directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents for payment of the legal fee, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders in another four weeks. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents for payment of the legal fee, within a period of one week from the
