HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.22913 OF 2019 ORDER:

Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not registering and conducting investigation in to the complaint of the petitioner dated 04.10.2019, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Heard Sri J.C. Francis, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, and perused the material on record.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions dated 23.10.2019, a copy of which is placed before this Court, submits that pursuant to the same complaint of the petitioner on 23.10.2019, a case was registered in Crime No.164 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 427 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, on the same day and the same is being investigated into.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, made on behalf of respondent No.3, the grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition stands redressed, as such, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

5. Therefore, recording the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stands closed.
