Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government pleader for Agriculture (TG).

Aggrieved by the order of punishment of stoppage of one annual grade increment without cumulative effect imposed by the Chairman, Agricultural Market Committee, Gaddiannaram, dated 20.06.2017, petitioner filed appeal before the Director of Agriculture Marketing, which was acknowledged by the office of Director on 20.07.2017. Alleging inaction on the appeal preferred by the petitioner, this writ petition is filed. 3.

Having regard to the fact that appeal is already preferred and is pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Director of Agriculture Marketing-1st respondent to examine the claim of petitioner as ventilated in the appeal, if pending before him and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
