ORDER:

Petitioner questions the fresh revised estimates called for by the Revenue Divisional Officer-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Sangareddy with respect to the land proposed to be acquired in Sy.No.53, Bogulampally village, Raikode, Medak District under Singur Project.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that estimates already received and approved are now sought to be revised in view of application of the Central Act 30 of 2013 and the estimates are deliberately sought to be reduced to minimize the compensation.

3. I am unable to see any legal right of the petitioner warranting interference by this Court, at this stage, when the fourth respondent, who is also the Land Acquisition Officer, is collecting statistics for preparation of revised estimates. In any case, it cannot be denied that any award that would be passed in future is only an offer on the part of the Government for acquisition of the land and the rights of the petitioner to get just compensation by the procedure contemplated under the Central Act 30 of 2013 are no way affected just because revised estimates are called for. I do not, therefore, see any ground to interfere. The writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ______________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J November 3, 2015
