CVNR, J & GSP, J WP.No.19713 of 2018 Dt: 19.06.2018 Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for a Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce one Anjali (for short 'the alleged detenue'), daughter of respondent Nos.4 and 5, before this Court and set her free.

In pursuance of the direction issued by this Court, the Police have produced the alleged detenue before this Court. She stated that the petitioner blackmailed her and that she is not willing to join his company.

As the alleged detenue is, admittedly, a major, she cannot be forced to join the company of the petitioner. If the petitioner has any matrimonial rights qua the alleged detenue, he is entitled to avail appropriate remedies available to him in law.
