HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 25056 of 2016 Order:
The respondents 2 and 4 issued a notification on 08.09.2015 inviting applications for the post of Anganwadi Workers/Mini Anganwadi Workers/Assistants in respect of Anganwadi Centres of Narasannapeta and Polaki Mandals, Srikakulam district. The petitioner applied for the post of Anganwadi Assistant in respect of Polaki village, Narasannapeta Mandal, Srikakulam District. The petitioner is qualified. She was called for the interview on 14.10.2015 in the office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srikakulam. Along with her, one Anga @ Timmala Padmavathi belonging to 16th Centre also appeared for the interview and she was appointed. The petitioner raised an objection with regard to her ineligibility on the ground that she belongs to 16th Centre and in spite of the same an order of appointment was made in her favour. In those circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation on 12.11.2015 to the second respondent and when no action was taken the present Writ Petition is filed.
2. Even after issuing notice before admission and posting the matter after four weeks, no counter affidavit is filed by the respondents.
3. In the circumstances, this Court is constrained to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon after verifying the record within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
4. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
