HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE J. UMA DEVI Writ Petition No.3776 of 2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Just ice V. Ramasubramanian) Challenging the notice issued for seizure under the A.P. VAT Act, 2005, the petitioner is before us.
2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides.
3. To the notice dated 25.01.2017, a reply was already sent on 27.01.2017. By a notice dated 03.02.2017, the Assessing Officer directed the petitioner to appear for an enquiry on 06.02.2017. But in the meantime, the present writ petition has been filed. Therefore, at this stage, we are of the view that the respondents should be allowed to pass an order on merits.
4. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to appear before the 3rd respondent on 10.02.2017. The 3rd respondent shall consider all the objections and pass orders immediately. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
