HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 17671 of 2011 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in issuing the proceedings vide Roc.F3/5662/2010 dated 13.07.2010 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the 1st respondent to furnish a certified copy of the proceedings issued by the Settlement Officer, Nellore, vide R.P.No.267/64/CTR dated 04.08.1965. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for

the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to furnish a certified copy of the proceedings issued by the Settlement Officer, Nellore, vide R.P.No.267/64/CTR dated 04.08.1965.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances stated above and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders with regard to the furnishing of a certified copy of the proceedings issued by the Settlement Officer, Nellore, vide R.P.No.267/64/CTR dated 04.08.1965, in accordance with law, at the earliest, if the same is not yet furnished to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in the writ petition shall stand closed.
