THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.9720 OF 2014 ORDER:

No representation for the petitioner - accused No.6.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana would submit that charge sheet was filed on 02.09.2015 before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Shadnagar, and it is still pending at SR stage and, therefore, the present Criminal Petition becomes infructuous.

3. If what is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is true, the present Criminal Petition would become infructuous.

4. Therefore, the present Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Shadnagar, is directed to examine the contents of charge sheet and the annexures thereto and act in accordance with law within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Learned Magistrate is also directed to submit a report as to why the charge sheet was not examined and kept lying for a period of more than one and half year. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
