THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE N.BALAYOGI CONTEMPT CASE NO.1122 OF 2017

O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 21.03.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.No.9828 of 2017. By the said order, this Court directed the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, State of Andhra Pradesh, to consider the petitioner's representation received on 15.11.2016 in accordance with law in the light of the proceedings dated 25.10.2016 issued in favour of one K.Ravi Sankar, Prohibition and Excise SubInspector. This exercise was directed to be completed within a time frame.

It is now represented by Sri C.Srinivasa Baba, learned counsel for the petitioner, that by proceedings dated 18.05.2017, the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Kakinada, considered the petitioner's representation and rejected the same. That being so, the order stands complied with. In the event the petitioner has any grievance with the subsequent proceedings, he would necessarily have to seek redressal thereof by way of independent proceedings in accordance with law. Granting liberty to the petitioner to do so, the contempt case is dismissed. No order as to costs.
