HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4078 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.131 of 2012 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Vayalpad, Chittoor District, registered for the offence under Section 420 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 13.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Kalakada Police Station, Chittoor District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 12.09.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.131 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
