Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government pleader for services-1 (TG).

Petitioner is working as School Assistant, Mathematics in U.P.S., Anneboinapally, Madugula Mandal, erstwhile Mahaboobnagar District. He has been working in the said place since 01.01.2009. Pursuant to the transfer exercise undertaken by the Government, petitioner now seeks suitable posting as per his entitlement. In addition petitioner also seeks that as his wife is unwell additional entitlement points should be given to him on that ground. As the medical certificate could not be secured before the last date for submission of application online, a representation was made on 12.06.2018 by the petitioner to grant additional points on medical grounds of spouse. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed.

When the case is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied for the present, if a direction is issued to consider his representation. 4.

Having regard to the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the District Educational Officer, Mahaboobnagar-3rd respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner for grant of additional entitlement points on the health ground of spouse and to take a decision as warranted by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
