THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.23016 of 2019 ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the first respondent in not disposing of the stay application in Revision Petition filed by the petitioner against the order dated 29.01.2019 in C.M.A.No.17 of 2013 passed by the second respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare.
Perusal of the record discloses that the stay application filed by the petitioner is pending consideration before the first respondent from 13.08.2019. Since two months have elapsed from the date of filing of stay application, I deem it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the said stay application as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
