Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Gopala Krishna Gokhale, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner imported apples through the port of Krishnapatnam vide bill of entry No.5191912 dated 09.05.2016, as the petitioner is entitled to do so in view of the interim orders of this Court dated 02.03.2016 in W.P.M.P.No.7659 of 2016 in W.P.No.4315 of 2016 and that despite the orders of this Court, the imported apples consignment is being withheld since 9th May, 2016 in the Krishnapatnam port and that Director General of Foreign Trade vide his letter dated 24.05.2016 addressed to the Joint Commissioner of Customs, Krishnapatnam Custom House, had directed to take necessary action in accordance with the applicable Customs Rules and Regulations vis-à-vis interim directions of this Court in regard to the apple consignment covered by the aforementioned bill of entry and therefore necessary orders may be passed.

The learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent would submit that already the said consignment is cleared. The submissions are recorded.

In view of the above submissions, it is fairly submitted that no further cause survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
