This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent/Temple in issuing the tender notification dated 01.03.2015 for conduct of auction for the "Thiladanam" service, which the petitioner's family is doing from times immemorial taking up as a service, at the intervention of local politicians, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the Executive Officer of the 3rd respondent/Temple not to conduct auction for "Thiladanam" service and continue the petitioner's family for doing the said service. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Smt. K.Lalitha, learned Standing counsel for the 3rd respondent on instructions submits that the petitioner has emerged as a successful bidder in the auction conducted on 01.03.2015. In view of the above, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication, since the petitioner has emerged as successful bidder. Therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said decision.
