HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.5953 of 2014 ORDER:

There was no representation for the petitioner in the morning session. The matter was passed over. Even in the afternoon session, there is no representation. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in not registering the case against the accused on the report of the petitioner dated 03.02.2014 as illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of natural justice and in violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 to register, arrest and filing of final report on the report of the petitioner dated 03.02.2014 forthwith."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents informs the Court that pursuant to the complaint/report lodged by the petitioner on 03.02.2014, a case in Crime No.132 of 2014 was registered for the offence under Sections 447 and 324 read with Section 34 IPC and after completion of investigation, a charge sheet was filed before the concerned Court. After taking cognizance of the offence, the same is numbered as C.C.No.116 of 2016 and the same is pending trial.

In view of the above said submissions, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition, since the main grievance of the petitioner that the respondent police is not registering a case pursuant to her complaint dated 03.02.2014 has been redressed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 06.11.2019.
