This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.268 of 2017 of WPS, DD, CCS, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2 .
Heard. Perused the record.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the parties to the litigation have compromised the matter and filed a compromise petition, wherein, one of the conditions is that the de-facto complainant/ wife has to withdraw the criminal cases filed against her in-laws. Under the circumstances, the parties are entitled to compound the offences in accordance with the procedure established by law.

With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.
