THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.19993 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard Mr.Y.Sudhakar for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner prays for the following relief: ".........writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th and 5th respondents in threatening to dispossess the petitioner from the land of an extent of 0.28 cents in 13/9 of G.Kothuru Village, Hamlet of Gundupala Village, Visakhapatnam District, pending disposal of the Appeal before the 3rd respondent is illegal, arbitrary......"

The petitioner is admittedly in possession of the property and the possession of petitioner is protected when the appeal is pending before the 3rd respondent. This Court is of the view that the ends of justice are met if a direction is issued to 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending appeal and communication of orders, the respondents are directed to maintain status-quo as

regards physical features and possession for a period of two months from today.

The writ petition is disposed of as indicated above. No order s to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
