HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U. DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.13282 OF 2013 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that respondent No.1 has not disposed of the appeal No.B2/9025/2011 filed by them and, hence, a direction may be issued for disposal of the said appeal. Their case is that they are the lawful owners and possessors of agricultural land in Survey No.8 of Ibrahimbagh village, Golconda Tehsil, Hyderabad. Subsequently, the petitioners made an application under Inams Abolition Act, 1955, before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer, Hyderabad, for grant of occupancy rights certificate in respect of the said land and the said application was dismissed by the Revenue Divisional Officer on frivolous grounds. Aggrieved, they preferred the above appeal before respondent No.1, and though long time has elapsed, the appeal is not disposed, hence, the present writ petition.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.1 herein to decide the Appeal No.B2/9025 of 2011 on merits expeditiously, if already not disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the present writ petition, stand closed.
