THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.3663 OF 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner, a Conductor in APSRTC, challenges the order of suspension dated 21.01.2017.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that having regard to the fact that the petitioner's case is suspension and disciplinary proceedings are already initiated, though the petitioner has serious grievance of suspension, he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the disciplinary authority to complete the enquiry within six (6) weeks from today.

Having regard to the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits directing the respondentdisciplinary authority to complete the enquiry and finalise the disciplinary proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the defence of the petitioner is preserved and it is open for him to raise all his pleas before the disciplinary authority, which have been agitated in the Writ Petition.
