Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents. 2.

According to petitioner, her husband Sri Varla Anjilaiah, who was working as Armed Reserve Police Constable (6686) died on 29.08.2019. Since petitioner is entitled to claim terminal benefits, compassionate appointment and other benefits, she claimed to have applied to the Tahsildar for issuance of death certificate and family member certificate. Alleging that the said certificates are not issued, a complaint was filed before the District Collector, Vikarabad District, on 10.10.2019, which was sent to through registered post. Alleging inaction on the part of the respondents, this Writ Petition is filed.

A copy of the application made to the Tahsildar is not enclosed to the Writ Petition material paper book. The complaint petition does not contain any date of its submission. Therefore, it cannot be said that the Tahsildar is negligent in acting on the application made by the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make application in prescribed proforma to the Tahsildar requesting to issue death certificate and family member certificate. As and when such application is made, the Tahsildar shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

If the petitioner is entitled to receive the death certificate and family member certificate, the same shall also be issued to her within the time prescribed above. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
