wp_24927_2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 4th respondent to produce Gapu Rani @ Kavya, W/o Suri Babu, who is now detained in Special Prison for Women, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad, before this Hon'ble Court and she may be ordered to be released forthwith after declaring her detention vide proceedings No. SB (1) No. 453/PD/S-1/2015 passed under Sub Section (2) of the Section 3 of the Telangana Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986 (Act No.
1 of 1986) dated 13-08-2015 passed by the 3rd respondent and vide Memo No. 243/L & O/A2/2015-3, dated 30-09-2015 and G.O.Rt.No. 2663 General Administration (Law & Order) Department, dated 30-09-2015 passed by the 1st respondent under P.D. Act as is illegal, arbitrary and against the Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India, in violation of natural justice besides in violation of the guidelines as contemplated in the Preventive Detention Act and to pass such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper."

At the hearing, Sri V.Durga Nageswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of this submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. 4.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No. 30765 of 2016 shall stand closed as infructuous.
